Roger Townley Builders have built us three buildings now. First was a workshop, shed + small apartment that was managed and built while we were overseas. Next, our off-grid passive energy home and then to complete the trifecta, a hay barn. All three buildings compliment each other, each crafted to balance functionality, and endurance with pleasing visual aesthetics.
The Roger Townley team of builders are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, have a great sense of humour and above all are thoroughly professional. We think each member of Roger’s team has worked on at least one of our building projects and all of them have been great to deal with. It was Liam that led the house build, ably supported by Edan, both delivering outstanding and high quality workmanship. Roger was always on hand to guide and develop his team without micromanaging. It was clearly evident that Roger has developed a highly competent team that he places significant trust in. That trust was repaid with the completion of our beautiful home.
The build team would arrive early each day and we would all have a quick catch up to run through the day’s activities. Liam would patiently answer our questions and resolve our indecision or crazy ideas with a gentle “We can do that, but it’s up to you…”.We learnt to recognise the look on his face as an indicator that we may be a bit, or a lot, off track. We quickly discovered that if we asked “what would you do”? His advice and guidance was always 100% correct and always so very helpful.

They always fully discuss the proposed work, and offer effective alternatives if there are any. They are prompt, diligent, skilled, and do what they say they will, all with good humour.
